ERATAP Beach Resort is a small, exclusive luxury resort hidden among the coastal forests of Eratap, on Efate Island, Vanuatu.

Encompassing an entire peninsula with three separate beaches and eight acres of tropical gardens it is a complete natural sanctuary and remarkably only 20 minutes from Vanuatu's capital, Port Vila.

Eratap beach resort has 12 private villas only. They are all absolute water front and lie around the peninsula each having their own unique and uninterrupted view of the ocean.

All are extremely spacious with separate pavilions for both the bedroom and lounge room.

The bedrooms are air conditioned and all pavilions have ceiling fans for natural air flow. With louvered windows, high pitched ceilings and large front opening glass doors the villas are cool, bright and airy.

Our Villas have been built using a combination of local and imported materials to create a truly Melanesian feel with luxurious finish. Tastefully decorated using modern Melanesian and Asian furnishings that provide a comfortable tropical ambience.

The one bedroom villas

The resort has six one bedroom villas ideally suited to couples or singles looking for space and privacy.

The master bedroom pavilion features a large bedroom with king size bed, air conditioning and two sets of double French doors opening onto private decks for uninterrupted ocean views. An ensuite bathroom allows you to soak in the bath, watching waves lap over the reef outside your door. There is a choice of an internal shower or an external courtyard shower for a more tropical feel.

The separate lounge room pavilion features lounge chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, dvd/cd stereo system and monitor. This pavilion opens out onto a vast deck, just a short stroll to the beach.

The two bedroom villas
The resort has four two bedroom villas ideally suited for either friends, two couples or a family.

These villas have two separate bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom also has an outdoor shower courtyard and there is a separate lounge room with private deck. Each bedroom is air conditioned, the master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom can be set up as two single beds or one king sized bed.

The lounge room has a dvd/cd stereo system and monitor, tea and coffee making facilities and bar fridge. As the villas have separate pavilions with each bedroom located on either side, privacy is maintained. Enjoy the feeling of being in your own home, on our private piece of paradise.

The honeymoon villa
It is hard to imagine a more romantic setting. With the stunning Eworentpat beach a few steps from your bedroom and Etlau lagoon spread out from your lounge room window the honeymoon villa is quite simply - beautiful.

Situated on its own peninsula this villa enjoys spectacular sunrises and sunsets all year round. With views of all four offshore islands and its very own covered outdoor lounge area you won't want to leave.

Lie in your king sized bed just metres from the white sand of Eworentpat beach. Watch the waves roll perfectly along the fringing outer reef or snorkel through the purple tipped staghorn coral just a few strokes from your lounge room.

Of course you don't have to be on your honeymoon to enjoy this villa, it is for anyone wanting to completely escape and enjoy nature at its best.

The three bedroom villa
Wrapping around Ewormet point with views of virtually the entire Eratap region sits the resorts three bedroom villa. A large commanding villa with three separate pavilions each facing a different direction to fully utilize the 180 degree views. This is Vanuatu's largest resort accommodation and surely one of the most beautiful views in the Pacific.

The central lounge room pavilion has a large deck area and dvd/cd stereo system and monitor, tea and coffee making facilities and bar fridge. It has sweeping views of Eratap beach and Castaway island.

The bedroom wings are linked to the central lounge room pavilion by enclosed corridors. The master bedroom pavilion is air conditioned with ensuite indoor bathroom and an outdoor shower courtyard. The second and third bedrooms share a second bathroom and contain a king size bed and two single beds and are also air conditioned.

While ideally suited to larger families or two couples this villa is available to anyone wanting a very special experience.
